The Attitude Of Gratitude

 

This charming, original children's nativity musical is suitable for Christmas performances by children aged 5-12 in both Christian schools and non-religious settings. Whilst including a meaningful telling of the traditional Nativity story, the play also uses humour to discuss the moral relevance of Christmas in secular society today, including:

• Kindness, giving gifts and bringing happiness to others;

• Contentment and gratitude; and

• Spending time with family and friends.

 

Two versions of the script have been included within this book; schools and other settings can decide which version best suits their cast (the songs are the same in each version). Basic staging directions have been included in both versions of the script, as well as ideas to think about with regard to costumes and props. This book includes the piano-vocal score and lyrics for the 7 original songs.
